Vesak 15/05/2011

Cambodia,  Lao, Sri Lanka and Thai monks gathered at Upeksa Meditation Village to celebrate the 2011 Vesak day. In the morning there was numerous children performances including a dance and a retelling of Buddha’s childhood. This was followed by a chanting session done in both Pali and Vietnamese. In the afternoon there was a taking refuge ceremony. Although it was a long day but every one was enjoyed it.
